This Privacy Policy describes how MakeProSimp LLP (“MakeProSimp LLP”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects information when merchants install and use Notim: Back In Stock+Notify Me (“App”) on the Shopify platform. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Shopify version of Notim.
1. About Us
MakeProSimp LLP develops software applications and services for eCommerce merchants. This Privacy Policy applies only to the Shopify version of Notim: Back In Stock+Notify Me.
2. Scope
This policy applies exclusively to merchants using Notim through Shopify and to information processed through Shopify-authorized APIs.
3. Information We Collect
We may collect merchant account information, Shopify store identifiers, app configuration, products, inventory, collections, locations, locales, limited customer information required for enabled notification features, order history for the last 60 days, device and activity information (including IP address, browser, operating system, and geolocation), usage logs, diagnostics, and support communications. We collect only the minimum information reasonably necessary to provide the functionality enabled by the Merchant and the permissions granted through Shopify.
SMS Notification Information: If a Merchant enables SMS inventory notifications, we may collect the mobile phone number provided by the Merchant, SMS notification preferences, consent status, consent date and time, and related messaging records necessary to provide and manage the SMS notification service.
4. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not intentionally collect payment card information, customer passwords, or information unrelated to providing the App. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information unless provided by the Merchant and necessary to deliver requested functionality.
5. How We Use Information
Information is processed to provide back-in-stock notifications, low-stock reminders, inventory synchronization, product updates, automatic notification delivery, improve performance and reliability, respond to support requests, detect fraud or abuse, comply with legal obligations, and communicate service updates.
If a Merchant enables SMS inventory notifications, we use the Merchant-provided mobile phone number to send requested inventory alerts, including notifications when products or variants reach configured inventory warning levels. We also use messaging information to manage consent, opt-out requests, customer support, message delivery, and compliance obligations.
6. Legal Basis (GDPR/UK GDPR)
Processing is based on contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and consent where required by applicable law.
7. Sharing Information
We may share information with cloud hosting providers, infrastructure providers, analytics providers, messaging providers, customer support providers, and professional advisers under confidentiality obligations. We never sell merchant or customer personal information.
SMS and Mobile Information: Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared, sold, rented, or transferred to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We may share information with service providers acting on our behalf solely as necessary to provide and support the SMS messaging service, such as messaging and telecommunications providers.
8. SMS Messaging
Merchants may voluntarily opt in to receive SMS inventory notifications from Notim by MakeProSimp LLP. These notifications may include alerts when products or variants reach inventory warning levels configured by the Merchant.
Participation in the SMS notification program is optional and is not a condition of purchasing, installing, or using the App.
Message frequency varies depending on the Merchant’s notification settings and inventory activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or transferred to third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

9. International Transfers
Where information is transferred internationally, appropriate contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards are implemented where required by applicable law.
10. Data Retention
Information is retained only as long as necessary for business, contractual, legal, security, and dispute-resolution purposes. Following app uninstallation, unnecessary information is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period unless longer retention is legally required.
11. Security
We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards including encryption in transit, access controls, authentication, monitoring, backups, least-privilege access, and secure development practices. Absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
12. Merchant Responsibilities
Merchants are responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws, providing required privacy notices, obtaining necessary consents, and responding to customer privacy requests where applicable.
13. Cookies and Analytics
The App does not place cookies on merchant storefronts for its core functionality. Our website may use cookies and similar technologies for analytics, diagnostics, security, and service improvement.
14. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection to processing, or withdrawal of consent where applicable.
15. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for businesses and is not directed toward children under the age of 13, or such higher minimum age as required by applicable law in your jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
16. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with Shopify and may rely on infrastructure, analytics, monitoring, messaging, and support providers necessary to operate the service. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
17. Business Transfers
If MakeProSimp LLP is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, corporate reorganization, or sale of assets, information covered by this Privacy Policy may be transferred subject to applicable law.
18. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Last Updated date.

Appendix B – Compliance Statement
This Privacy Policy promotes transparency regarding information processed through the App. Notim only accesses Shopify data authorized by the Merchant and necessary to provide requested functionality. Merchants remain responsible for complying with applicable privacy and data protection laws.
